# Positions

**About:** Members can set/specify the amount to spend on every pair's open position.

Initially, this process has to be conducted manually from one of our operators, but the goal is to enable the Telegram bot to perform such operations by members automatically.

### Step 1

Set the desired margin mode and leverage.

### Step 2

Adjust the size amount of the working pair, just below the sliding bar you will notice the "**buy amount**" which is the value you have to share with the team for every working pair (**your position will be opened based on this number**), and below you will find the amount of USDT related to that position size.

### Step 3

Go to our [Telegram channel](https://t.me/ba_futures) and send the **buy amount** to the bot using the following command:

/update\_user\_working\_pair PAIR AMOUNT

**Example:**

/update\_user\_working\_pair ETH/USDT 0.2

### Step 4

Go to our [Telegram channel](https://t.me/ba_futures) and send the **leverage** to the bot using the following command:

/update\_user\_working\_pair\_leverage PAIR LEVERAGE

**Example:**

/update\_user\_working\_pair\_leverage ETH/USDT 20

### Considerations

If no amount and leverage is defined manually by the user, the bot will open up new positions using 20x leverage and 5% of the available account funds.

In order for the bot commands to work, user must be enrolled in the Black Arrow futures trading platform.
