About: The API is the way we have to communicate with the exchange to be able to process operations on behalf of each member.

It’s important to emphasize the importance of keeping them private and do not share with anybody besides the team.

Step 1

Enter to “API Management” from your main Dashboard.

Step 2

Click on “Create API”.

Step 3

Click on “System generated”.

Step 4

Enter a descriptive name for your API, this can be anything, not necessarily the same as the given example on the image below, after this click next.

Step 5

Enter the security validations from the exchange, you will receive confirmation codes on your email, sms, and also you will have to enter your authenticator code to proceed.

Step 6

Once the API is created, click on “Edit Restrictions”

Step 7

In order to enable the futures input, you should first add the BOT server’s IP in the “Restrict access to trusted IPs only” field, which is: 201.219.236.200.

Once the IP is added the futures fields will be unlocked, check it and click save.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU NEVER SHARE YOUR API KEY OR API SECRET WITH ANYBODY BESIDES THE TEAM, GIVEN THAT THIS ALLOWS TO OPERATE YOUR FUTURES ACCOUNT IN YOUR BEHALF. IN CASE THESE INFORMATION GOT COMPROMISED YOU SHOULD DELETE THE API IMMEDIATELY AND CREATE A NEW ONE FOLLOWING THE SAME PROCESS DESCRIBED IN THIS DOCUMENT.
